Our session on Puberty and Sexuality Management was impactful. Boys and girls were separated due to the sensitivity of the subject matter.
Students were sensitized on puberty signs, puberty myths and how they can manage their sexuality effectively. The facilitators emphasized that nothing external is responsible for their body growth; their hormones are responsible, hence they should shun puberty myths.
Students were further encouraged to have values guiding their decision making as it help them reduce peer pressure as they journey to adulthood.
At the end of the session, students were given the opportunity to ask questions and all question were attended to by facilitators.
Students were also given copies of Puberty and Sexuality Management for free.
